::::: Notes :::::: ::::: ::::: ::::: ::::: ::::
1. Known issue: The following combination may cause unresponsive movement: Playing the game on Newgrounds + IE + Flash player 11.5.502.146. If you experience this problem, just use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera...
2. The game may lag on very old computers. But I tested it on a 2008 Intel Celeron laptop with 512MB RAM and it is still playable, with some lagging when many enemies appear.
3. The game is not difficult to play but I personally believe that it is difficult to beat. There are some people giving up after the "bullshit" 2nd boss. But the 2nd boss is beatable. I have beaten it and so have others. I have made some easy games so that people can go till the end, but I get complaints saying that those games are too easy. So this one is considerably harder and gives you a challenge. So I believe you are definitely not a wuss and can defeat the bosses instead of giving up and crying "impossible". I know you can do it! Prove me right!
4. Sequel? I am not sure. Maybe. Depending on the performance of this game (popularity/number of plays, score/rating). If the game does well, meaning people like it and want more, there is a high chance I will do a Virtua Snake 2 with more features from my own ideas and also ideas gathered from you guys. Or else, I will do other things with my resources such as other games, work, etc...

okay. this could just be that browser issue you mentioned, but the controls kept sticking, and I literally could not get my keyboard to work very well with it. urk. so, urm, urk.
But, that is probably just that browser issue. Ther's really nothing wrong with what I managed to get through, although because of the keyboard issue I couldn't get far. I am giving it a four.
Double and triple check your code, just to be thorough. ;)
OK... thanks. I also believe there might be an issue with the medals. I will do an experiment to find out soon.

I'd give this a higher rating, but even on the low setting the controls were clunky and my snake kept lagging forward despite my button presses.

Cool game! Smooth mechanics for movement and shooting. I also found it was hard to tell when I was doing damage to my enemies so I opted for simply barraging everything until it died.

This is indeed a challenging version of Snake, but still beatable, just like you promised in your notes! And you want us to prove you right?! Challenge accepted ;)
I don't know why so many don't like the second boss, the final one was driving me nuts since he used to teleport... what a sneaky bastard >:-(
But even he can be destroyed, you are right about that.
When you plan a second Virtua Snake (I would recommend it!), you still should consider to split up to easy, normal and hard mode to attract more casual playersfor your game (medals would be 25, 50 and 100).
And please, man, give us a button to turn on autofire instead of holding down the left mousebutton all the time. That would be great! :D
Great suggestions! I've noted them down for the 2nd version, or for other similar games I might develop in future. Thank you very much for playing the game and writing a review.
