This is one of two projects I made for college this year. It's essentially a cutscene from a fictional video game I came up with. The plot revolves around a little girl named Gigi who has to rid the world of an evil toy apocalypse after a school experiment goes wrong. In terms of how the game would play, I imagined a hybrid style of play between Castle Crashers and Super Paper Mario; side scrolling beat em up with a tad of puzzle solving and platforming.

Wow, this was really good, I can't believe how undersold it is. The vibe I get from it is a Conker's Bad Fur Day mixed with Grabbed by the Ghoulies. Conker in sense of humor Ghoulies by theme and concept. I would love to play a game like this as I loved both those games, their sense of humor and style. The music especially fits and sounds almost ripped from GbtG, its lively and cutsey but still kinda creepy. The voice acting was really some of the best I've heard and the animation was great as well as character design. Very excellent.

Yeah I guess the scarecrow does give a bit of a Conker feel. Can't say Birdie wasn't inspiration for that character lol.
