This is a little video I created after watching a HILARIOUS episode of Game Grumps in which JonTron accidently resets his speed run of the game "Super Mario Land" on the nintendo Game Boy. I assume the controller is really a Wii remote or something but whatever.

I do not own rights to the sound or any of the associated characters, simply making a fanimation.

I can't wait to see what you create next, keep up the great work!

I agree with ReikoSpazz on this one.

Try a different approach, instead of just animating it as two guys, take on the 'Sequelitis' approach, and make it more about what's going on with the game instead of the people involved. You two can act just as a simple VO or narration for what may be happening that may not reflect a direct animation with characters sitting on a couch with a Gameboy.

I loved this part in gamegrumps, but really..? if you decide to make an animation out of it be a little more inspired please :O
The beginning was good tho, but middle & end bad.

Nope didn't do it for me... at all... I loves me some GameGrumps and I especially loved that episode (in my top 5) but not diggin' the animation. Overall it was the lack of anything dynamic, it was simply two dudes sittin' on a couch. It was cute but not my cup-o tea.
I've seen some real stand out animations that have surpassed their source material by taking the original voices and adding their own spin on the jokes via the animation. This simply goes the rout of almost a face cam. Overall the animation was solid enough I s'pose but it just didn't ring true to me.
Grats on the front page though.

Eddie-John responds:

Cheers and thanks for the honesty, I would probably agree with you also, I love this animation but I did make it in under 24 hours, so there is nothing dynamic or exciting. My next solo submission is likely to be an action flash with a lot more dynamic movement.

I like how people think they're "acting."
