An interesting idea. A lot of trial and error, with the odd disaster ruining your game. But it's challenging. I have yet to complete this game yet (Get past the 10 turns without my people dying) But i have worked out how to play the game. It's pretty simple really.
You start with 100 people. You need to feed them 200 grain to stop anyone from starving but no one will come to your city. If you feed them 400 grain, 100 people will come to your city giving you a total population of 200. So whatever you feed half will become your population.
You can only plant grain based on your population. So at the start you can only plant 100 grain because your population is 100.
I'm not sure how the bushels are calculated right now.
At my start i had 2995 bushels, i fed them 200 and i planted 100, i got 2 bushels per acre bring my total to 3195. Now i am just guessing, but if i used 300, then i would have 2695 which means i gained 500...
But i tried on a new game, My start was 2982, fed 200, planted 100, 6 bushels per acre and my new total is 2982... Someone who is brilliant at problem solving (or the creator) needs to explain how this is calculated because i am at a loss.
Oh, i got an ending, they hate me :D
So yeah, a good game, some more instruction would be nice, but the game would need to be longer otherwise the trial and error feel would be useless.
