In every Final Fantasy cinematic, I've always wondered why they don't really emphasize the spells that much since the name of the spells sort of what makes Final Fantasy its franchise. So I tried it myself and see how it would look like.

This is great. At first I thought it was some dude fighting his nobody self but then I remember this was FF and now I think of only a black mage fighting a white mage. Regardless, this is awesome and its something new that I have never seen before. Keep striving, bro.

Haha, nice end. Just how did that guy sneek Doom in there!?!

It was a bit dark and it lagged a bit as well. I thought it was cute that you started out with lvl 1 attacks and just had them grow from there. I'm not sure if you had the guy get hit with lightning or you hit him with Gravity, but still that was interesting. I loved how you had the black mage use Haste. Now that was pretty effective. Though the joke in my head was "that's a White Mage, silly. They don't do attack magic." But then again, it depends on which game you're playing since nowadays anyone can do any sort of magic attack or defense.

You know what would have made this even more interesting? If you had them take some Ether to replenish. All that magic they're throwing around comes at a cost. :)

One thing you forgot : REFLECT.
That would've been EPIC as hell, the way you'd represent the Reflect spell !
