Not a bad start for a game, the main problem I see is that when the player reaches an impasse (for example, in level 4 where the board is shaped like an E) and there is no way to get the gems into a configuration where a match can be made at the end of an arm, you need some sort of powerup to either shuffle the gems, change a color, destroy a gem, etc. As a game player, I don't mind difficulty, but I dislike games where the design of the game board prevents me from succeeding.
