In a world without hope were almost everything has vanished into darkness one man struggles for survival.

This is a Survival Horror/Psychological Game were you take the role as old Sam, trying to survive the harsh winter lands. The goal of the game is to simply survive the world's end.

The game features a dynamic event system that, based on the time of day, will trigger different events. Trying to aim for a new experience for each play-through with up to three different endings

Movement - Arrow Keys
Z - Use/Interaction
X - ToggleMenu/Cancel Sleep

NOTE: There are no mouse inputs in this game, only keyboard.

Instructions also follows in game with a tutorial cinematic. Please follow it as it helps a lot. The game will autosave for each new day.

As mentioned there are 3 different endings (Good, Neutral & Bad), depending on how you play the game will result in one outcome. To get an ending you must have received a knock on your door where you are prompted to open it at least 3 times.

I hope to make more games of this sort so if you like it (or don't) please leave a review for feedback and whatnot.

If you encounter strange bugs try updating your Flash Player, usually a lot can be fixed just by doing that.

Good Luck!

I never felt such constant tension, fear of the darkness and guilt in a flash game for a while. Not having a pause button/option was simply genius, the deprivation of a "happy place" enhanced the overall experience, really had me immersed into the game, from the start up the 15th day (in which in my first run, Sam was consumed by the darkness. Died.)

There was one bug; if you use the lantern (happened by accident) inside the lodge, the screen turns to the outside of the lodge and you can't see Sam and cannot move.

Yes. I am looking forward for more interesting games from you. Surprise us. Thank you and Cheers.

P.S. - Awesome game... but will not play it for a while. This sh*t is really SCARY.

This is a great game, its scary and requires a certain strategy to survive. I did run into a bug on my game though where i didn't open the door the third time but when i do open the door the 4th time, time freezes and i have to quit the game. I would love to see a sequel that requires more strategy and where the world is opened up more.

At first, I though this game would be easy. Then I starved to death around day 5 or day 6. There is some strategy to staying alive in this game and how to manage your time before the night descends. The game play in minimal, but functional most of the time. The jump scares kind of wear off for a while, but the mysterious hooded character always had me on edge. The isolation was also a bit scarier than any sudden scary face, the thought of dying alone in a cold wasteland just as horrifying as any sudden scary noise. The theme of the game of not living in fear and not completely demonizing humanity was a plus. I'd like to see a sequel to this with more things for the character to do then just to survive. IĆ¢EUTMm also excited to see the story to continue from this gameĆ¢EUTMs ending to see what happens to Sam and the rest of humanity.

this game is great but i keep getting killed on day 2 when its bright ou t and i dont understand why but anyway the game is fun just needs some work like the water is so far away and random jump scares for no reason in the middle of the day
