It's been way too long but it's finally here! I'm very proud to present my first full-fledged game.

More than a year in the making, Intruder CT is an action-packed, 2d side-scrolling tactical shooter ("multiplayer" with bots), built on one of the most advanced 2d shooter engines - mGine by

Welcome to the elite international special forces recruitment program.
In order to become the "Intruder", you need to complete the Combat Training. Engage in DM or TDM matches on 5 beautiful and unique maps and complete missions in order to unlock new equipment, gear and weapons for characters or just have a blast in the free play mode. Logged in users can unlock medals and get the top high score for finishing the missions. (you can see you missions score by clicking stats in the customization menu)

While designing this game I tried to focus on creating an amazing action packed experience with deep gameplay mechanics so i had to create a top-notch engine that uses techniques known from modern console and PC titles - fluid skeletal animations, particle effects with full physics, detailed graphics, full sound system with stereo and destruction physics.

I hope you'll love it as I do and you'll see how much work I've put into it and how this game goes beyond typical flash games in both details and the presentation - everything for you guys! This is only the beginning...

Now go play and kill! Leave your review and vote high, maybe give me a fav, would you kindly?

Thx to everyone who helped me: my friends, the fans on my NG blog who bothered me about the release and didn't forget it! Also Tom and all Newgrounds for sponsoring, mike for helping with the save api implementation and MindChamber for testing since the beginning. More details in the game's credits!

Choppy fps? Play with the options - turning off HQ particles, decals and anti-aliasing will help the most
Sorry for the spawn system problems! I'm designing a new system that hopefully will work much better - the current one is the 3rd in this game and i was satisfied with it but seeing many complaints i'll try to do something about it. The spawing is not random, the system is going through all spawn positions and checking if they're safe but you must understand that finding a good spot on the maps with 4 players DM is really hard that's why the system has problems.

Pretty decent shooter, love the physics, even if it's just ragdolls and little objects being knocked around. Map design can be...a bit annoying, what with the bottom of the map generally being a dead end. The art style is kinda meh, characters and maps look like something you'd find in a generic shooter if it was 2D.

My biggest gripe was how bots would always prioritize the player over other bots. You could walk into a firefight, only for all the bots involved to stop shooting at each other and start shooting at you.

A bit annoying when you're trying to climb a ladder and get creamed with shotguns and grenades everywhere.

I actually liked this a lot. Because, well, GIBS GIBS GIBS GIBS GIBS GI-

But let's be honest. The game is very fun. Original, no, but the execution was great. The characters move at just the right pace as to force you to strategize, even if just for a short bit, and the weapons all have their little bits of power, though Quaid's machine gun takes me to pieces every time, haw haw.

Now, personally, I think that guns would have been better if they were all balanced with their own strengths and weaknesses, instead of, say, having Quaid's uber-super-ultra-point-at-shit-and-wa tch-it-die-machine-gun and running through the levels and killing everything. That being said, the game still handles difficulty well, and it all scales up while still feeling like you're progressing. Granted, it's the same kind of fake progression that many RPGs use, but it still felt like I was accomplishing something.

The art style isn't too terribly detailed, and the characters are kind of bland-looking, but the environments look fucking great. They're gritty and grimy, and the fact that there are a LOT of destructible objects here adds a bit of much-needed interactivity to the places. They feel less like giant boxes that you kill people in and much more like playgrounds of destructible objects. It was a blast.

Oh, and the gibs. They make up for all the character shortcomings. I liked that little bit of intestine hanging out of the torso. I must be a sick fuck.

Overall, it's a good game. The controls are good, you don't move too fast or too slow, and the IK and physics really make the animations in this game stand out. Everything moves great.

Still need to add a bit more polish, but as it is, it's a damn good game.

Ok..difficulty wise...It's easy enough that you ALWAYS win, but hard enough you always at least die once. The ammo system really needs fixing..for example while the ammo increasing vest my sniper rifle had 5 bullets in the chamber, 15 in the mag. I shot ONE bullet then reloaded making it 4 : 15 after reloading it becomes 5:10. Is this on purpose or a bug?

Maybe try adding a feature when you pickup the ammo of dead enemies /allies they could, usually by the time I pick up someone elses gun they really do not have much ammo left probably making it a better option to have ammo pickups around that could really help. Personally I give it a 4.5 because this game is a nice way to kill and it is a simple and fun game of endless killing which tends to some players as it has no storyline or anything and you just get right to it.

Good job :)

mmankt responds:

hey, thx for the review. the ammo system is designed in a realistic manner. when you drop a mag with ammo still in it - it's lost. but i agree that you should be able to pick up ammo from the same guns that are on the floor.
