a video game about dysphoria and astronauts

"Personal Trip to the Moon" is an experimental game about exploration and discovery which serves as a psychogram of a gray wasteland and its inhabitant.
It's a game about finding yourself 384400 kilometers away from home.

Music: "Une chute sans fin" by "Another Moon" (S├ębastien Lombard).

Special thanks to azrafe7 and everyone from the FlashPunk forums.

"Personal Trip to the Moon" is the first game I have ever managed to release and as the title suggests it is a very personal project.
Any kind of feedback is highly apreciated and please keep an open mind while playing. Thank you.

I quit after a couple seconds of walking painfully slow to the right. Petty, but the truth.

VOEC responds:

Then you missed out on all the fun (and painfully, agonizingly slow) flying around space. :)
It also might be so slow because of performance reasons, I'm sorry about that, but I sadly can't do anything about it.

I liked the gameplay, but I didn't like that I couldn't change the volume. My laptop doesn't have a keypad, so I ended up having to mute my computer to play it. A little frustrating, but the game itself was cool.

VOEC responds:

There is a volume control. Num0 mutes, NumPlus increases volume, NumMinus decreases.

It's quite a nice game, the music was good and the screens ressembling old tv's and NASA footages was pretty nice too, but the main theme of the game is a lil' sad. I have a friend who has dysphoria and I'd be afraid if she played the game it would give wrong signals in a way.

The only thing I didn't thoroughly enjoy was the fact that it ended so soon. Well done.

A euphamism for your struggle as a man, when all you want it to become a woman? I will hand it to you that the atmosphere and feel of the game is nice, but spouting vague one liners really means nothing when none of it actually makes sense. Something attempting to be brooding and dark needs to be relatable as well, otherwise it's just confusing and slow.
