We had 72 hours to design and put together game with "dive" as the core mechanic.

update :controls less sensitive

p.s dont press up while using the boost
Use the arrow keys to swim and space to boost when in the air

I thought this was a pretty standard game. At best, it's simply average. What I didn't like was that it was fairly hard to understand the controls. I guess I could take a better look at it later, but I just didn't have much control over what was going on in this game. At least the sound effects were decent when you got the jewels. I hope those medals are for overall points.

It is kind of fun to watch this guy fly around like that. In fact, it's pretty silly to watch him look so stupid. The music is alright. I think everything in the NG Game Jam has had numerous people working on it. This was nice for the jam.

Would much rather control entirely with the mouse, or have that as an option. Also, the music gets annoying after a few minutes as you progress through the rounds. Not much in terms of obstacles, which would be great to have as a challenge. The only thing that I can give you props to is the character animation when he's spinning out of water :|

In theory, this would be a good game. But it's hard to control the main character, ESPECIALLY out of water.

It's a neat concept, catching shiny things is fun. But the clunky controls make this kind of a pain to play and takes a lot of fun out of it.
