Momentum is a challenging platform game. I didn't want it to be too easy, so some of the later levels are a real challenge to complete. But in no way impossible. The levels are designed to gradually increase the difficulty level so that the game should (hopefully!) never feel too hard.

After you finish the game, you can go back to any level to try and collect all the candy for added challenge.

The controls are very simple. Press LEFT to increase your momentum to the left, and press RIGHT to increase your momentum to the right. Escape brings up the pause menu in game, and M mutes the sound. Press R to restart a level.

Why is this rated so low? I'm actually quite fond of this game! It's awesome!

Graphics are good. The sounds...on the other hand....are horrible.

In all honesty, I like this game. The graphics are good, and while the music can get annoying, it can be turned off, which is good. I think it's one of the more unique platforms on newgrounds, but it is for this reason that many people find it difficult and frustrating. I do like how the controls are simple and yet the game itself is challenging and almost complex. You need to think before you leap. You can also pick the level you left off at if you happen to quit, which I find very useful.

I'ts a little bit repetitive, and sometimes the music get irritating.
But the game mechanics is good. I loved the music (on the start) and the graphics in 8-bit style. But always the same thing got bored fast.
The voice of "you dead" was really nice, too.
