After a long day of shooting flash ideas back and forth this is what came out of it. We weren't thinking of Monsters Inc. by the way.
Idea inspired by ZJ. We were going for a role reversal sort of thing.

Wow, Now if all children looked like that I would be scared of them. I'm guessing the picture at the end is an inside joke. But other then that I really liked the frame by frame style to it, I don't know why you put the tween of the squiggly line mouth in there it would have looked better just drawn fram by frame and to me it stood out. All that said it was a good animation

This seemed to be well done with the animation. Story went quite well too. Nice to see a little reversal too since I imagine maybe some monsters would be scared of humans rather than the other way around. The door opening sound gave a little bit of suspense to the story since it never knew when the human would come after it and scare them.
Animation here was nice and simple shading is seen showing there is a little bit of light in the closet it seems or at least it looks that way. The girl looking anime image during the end screen was rather unexpected and I guess it kind of lifts the spirits if the animation even scared the viewer at all.
The music was nice but I think it could have been lowered a bit so that the voice actors sound a little louder. The voice acting was also nice although for the first line spoken it sounded a little lower in volume than it should have been and then for the rest it sounded just fine, the gruff voice of the adult monster worked well and the little one sounding scared was also good.
Overall, I would lower the volume just a little bit. The image at the end screen was funny though since it feels rather out of place to me.

Well, it has some obvious "Monsters Inc" elements to it, with the bluish, horned image of the monster and the whole concept that monsters are afraid of children, but it's not an overdone idea.
The audio cracks a bit, and the scenes felt a bit repetitive. If there was more variety and detail it would definitely improve the viewing experience.
