Extremely poor as both a horror game and as a point and click game. While I can understand that real life stills of an environment can make a more realistic experience the biggest problem is that the game gives you zero idea of what you're suppose to be looking for. I spent a good 4 minutes clicking on random parts of the scenery till I found a marble, and even then I didn't think I was exclusively collecting marbles only.

Even worse is you give a random time limit to players for no apparent reason. There is no good reason for this feature aside from forcing players to replay your game over and over to get all the marbles for whatever the ending was.

The environments were all so drab and kind of same-ish that I didn't even really know where I was most of the time. The game was a maze, and while that wouldn't have been a problem most times it was a frustrating thing to deal with as the timer forces you to rush.

Lastly the "scares" are a little cheap and played out. Ghosts pop out with a loud voice, a child sings, you even have skittish creepy girl crawling for those that like Japanese horror. It's all so painfully overdone that it didn't even feel like a unique story or experience; just checkmarks on a list of horror tropes.

Hi, Kikoshou. Sounds like this really wasn't your thing. Did you click on the little ghost girl at the beginning? The text that pops up pretty much explains the story, the time limit and the marbles.

Other than that, it was part of the whole haunted house idea that the environment be confusing and maze-like, so even though you didn't like it, it seems to have had the effect that we wanted. ;)

Sorry you didn't like the game, and found our scare tactics to be overdone. We'll keep your comments in mind as we develop new projects.
Thanks for playing, and for taking the time to give us the feedback.

Hehe, perhaps we should put a warning on this: "Not to be played by the faint of heart while home alone at 10pm"?
Hope you're ok...! :)

Well made. But dafuq why is a T(Teen) game?

ProgressivegamesDLE responds:

Thanks. The game's recommended for 13+ mainly because of the graphic image at the start, and because not all younger kids can handle the scary atmosphere. (Not all adults can handle the scary atmosphere!) ;)
