You should be able to upgrade your vehicle to make it more competitive. Perhaps award some form of credits depending on your performance in the race.

Needs some sound effects as well. Also, the music loop is too short and gets repetitive quickly.

I don't like how the vehicle turns. There appears to be a rate of change applied when you are turning. When you release a turning key, your vehicle appears to continue turning, until the rate is neutralized. This then causes you to offset that by trying to turn in the opposite direction, making you over-correct. I'd rather just have have turning applied fully as soon as you press a turn key, and neutralized as soon as you release.

The graphics look really good though.
