Author Comments

"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

< Edit - Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone whose taken the time to play, vote and review the game. We may not have replied to all the comments but we have read them all, even the mental ones. Cheers - Squize >

Alien Breed, but done properly

This takes me back to my Amiga days :) Excellent controls, graphics, lighting, sound etc. Very addictive and atmospheric. Only thing I will say, is that it can be way too easy to die and there's nothing you can do about it. If you're running from aliens and they're right on top of you - runningjavascript:submission_controll er.GetReviewController().SaveReview()
; at the same speed, you're screwed. On more than one occasion I died and re-spawned in a tight room with a couple of aliens and had NO chance of getting out :( That aside, it's an immense game.

Squize responds:

Speaking of the Amiga, Speedball II is one of our dream projects to "Pay homage" too one day.
Thanks for the review mate.

Very similar to the Steam Game Alien Swarm( I believe) I like this becuase you don't need steam and its bascially the same premise. Love the level system and the challenges.

great game (but i need help with a tech prob)

i'm enjoying playing this at the moment only pausing to leave this comment, smooth actions and great xp and upgrade system, i'm also loving the look of the game design particularly the levels themselves. I'm having one problem in that my mouse isn't tracking the aim as i assume it should be so im having to point and click to aim in a certain direction, anyone know why this may be as i can't for the life of me figure it out and this def deserves to be played at its full potential...
