My first flash game EVER. I created it for an Interactive Media class at my University. This is the latest version, and it is indeed my first flash game, so I'm looking for criticism. Don't just zero-bomb me, please rate fairly and explain what I can do to improve! Thank you.

Nice one for your first game
i really enjoyed everything about this game, it was simple the music fit well and even had voice acting i can tell you put in sometime for this game and it payed off.

Not a bad first
Some of the biggest problems:
- No restart/replay/menu button when you die. You have to refresh if you'd like to try again, which is a pain.
- Sometimes it doesn't shoot for no apparent reason.
- The movement isn't very responsive.

Thanks. For a first I wanted to include a restart button but its honestly quite the monumental task to make sure all the listeners are dead, restarted, and scores and such are reset. I plan on implementing it when I learn more.
I'm aware of the shooting issue and I haven't figured out what causes it.
The moment's responsiveness probably has more to do with your computer, your internet connection, or your mouse sensitivity than it does with my programming. It was designed so that the ship flowed back and forth instead of being static with the mouse, so that people with really high sensitivity couldn't cheaply zip back and fourth.
