11/8/11 Still working on the medals guys, hang in there. Also tried some more optimizing to fix the slippery/sticky controls issue some of you have. (also, if you have a FB tab up, try closing that)

**CONTROLS** LEFT/RIGHT walk left/right UP = Jump DOWN = Raise shield (while standing)/Use Weapon(later in game,while standing)

Oyeatia, creator and god of man surrenders his deity, descending to the green earth in search of a lost love. Gyossait sleeps in the warm black heart of the dying planet, her dreams seep into the weakening minds of man. The end begins.

Update History:

11/5/11 Patched vanishing keys, walking off map, alternative ending, Medals implemented but pending.

In all truthfulness, I did enjoy it. Though there where some plot Holes, and half of the time you don't understand where you are going, or what you are doing- But, in the grand scheme of things, I really did enjoy the experience.

great game loved the story and execution and soundtrack and ending(s): for anyone having trouble with the secret medals
insult to injury - die from an enemy and fall into an environmental hazard
curiouser and curiouser - on i think the second or third level, top right screen you can see gyossait talking to you
altruist - dont use the gun and you get the good ending

All this game needs is a save function. Aside from that it is a compelling game :)

I played Au Sable years ago and loved it. Came by this game by chance and as soon as I saw the flickering text I thought 'This has to be by the same guy!!' It is and this game is more than worth anyones time. I would love to see what you would do with a short animated film, dev!

Very nice, atmospheric horror platformer. Much like the other piece of yours I've played, Au Sable, it never feels like something a human mind could come up with. The game feels otherworldly and unnatural, and brings to mind H.P. Lovecraft in a very good way for these reasons. You really know how to do what you do.
