Fun, creepy and challanging

Nice, I like this game. It took me about 25 minutes. It was kinda hard though. For those who are stuck, I'll tell you where the machine parts are at the end of this review, only read if you want to ruin the game though...

The scary atmosphere is great. The text that pops up creeps me out (that's a good thing). The music fits. I am looking forward to the third one.

Tips for the third one:
1. Make it longer, it kinda ruins the climax that JUST when something cool is happening, the game stops.
2. Make more obtainable objects, even if they don't help you, it's more fun and adds more depth to the game (mhh I wonder if this item is useful... or not...)
3. Make the texts in the books shorter, this is a personal issue (I don't read very fast and get bored by it easily) either make the texts a little shorter, or make them more interesting.
4. The imp has an annoying voice, if you make a voice, make it fun or creepy but not annoying.
5. Make more animations, I can recall that the only animations are when you obtain the apple, when the shaman is cleaning the table and when you scare the guy with the nail.
6. It was kinda disappointing to have a house filled with cool stuff, only to discover that nothing of that stuff is useful or can be obtained. If you make something like this (I am talking about the shaman's house) let there be at least one object that you can obtain.

That's all, don't get me wrong, I write this to help you improve your game, not to tell you that this game is bad (it isn't).

So overall, good game, fun, creepy and challenging. There are some things that can be improved that make this game weaker than it could have been, but I have faith that you will be able to fix those in the next game. I am looking forward to it.

I would very much appreciate a response to this review.

*SPOILER ALERT*
For those who can't get any further, here are the machine parts:
1. In the swamp water.
2. Carve open the apple with your knife, inside the apple is "candy" give it to the imp with the nail in his head (why does he have that?)
3. Use your knife as an connector for the metal arm thingy's and trade your hammer with the demon guy.

Good game! (could be better)

First of all, the game was good!

The atmosphere was great, as usual!
But the puzzles were pretty horrible. Characters appearing out of nowhere is one of the most annoying things in my opinion.

It was also very short- you might want to expand exploring areas. It can still be short, but exploring space is important.

In addition- you might want to consider parallel explorations- instead of one path being revealed, several mini-paths, so the player can make at least some progress without getting stuck so early...

Good game!
Hope to see the next one soon!
