OH NEWGROUNDS, HOW WE HAVE MISSED YOU SO.

Based on a true story! This was one of those things that was only supposed to take me 2-3 weeks to get the joke out but then I kept adding things and it spiraled a little but hey, finally, here we go. I'll try to have some more info on my blog and some production-related stuff in the next while, but first I gotta get back to work on some other things... FUN(?) FACT, we recorded all the music for this ourselves, and that really is Caxx "nyanning".

Thanks hugely to Tom and Mike for helping me get some API stuff sorted out, you guys are awesome!

This might not run well on older computers (or even newer ones) so I'd suggest using the "dim the lights" feature.... otherwise, sorry about that, kind of.

Oh also, a few people have suggested a seizure warning, so here you go:

*****SEIZURE WARNING*****

Thanks for watching, pls enjoy!

Redundant statement but....WTF did I just watch?

Hate to read? Skip down to the "OVERALL" summary.

Concept: In short: To mindfuck the audience as much as possible. But it's pretty much stated in the authors comments.

Story:Er........I can only describe it as main character (A freind in real life, maybe?) experiencing a HUGE trip from some existing Iconic NG cat-like loop animation.

Art: When I see flashes like this I can't help but compare it to the almost equally crazy art style of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Obviously the use of color is uncanny and in the hands of Redminus it's a weapon. The color really sets the mood for each scene giving it that much more power in atmosphere as the mood shifts from happy and exciting to ominous and dark through this the trip. The art style is evident as seen in MVC3 parodies with sharp well drawn characters.

Animation: Little choppiness on this old dinosaur I utilize but absolutely none with the lights dimmed. (Funny I never new that improved the animation up till now.) Character movement is realistic (in the real world) as well as being snake like in the dream.

Humor: Personally I found myself giving far more eyebrow raises rather than laughing in approval. I never really watched the Flash that this joke is based on so yeah my ignorance is one factor. Another one is how the joke is addressed in this flash, sure you got the silly theme song and the conversational humor explaining the history of the flashes existence. But I don't know it provoked a smirk at best. (But I'm sure to your great delight that damn song is stuck in my head.)

Audio: Sound quality was inconsistent, when it came to the trip it was fine. But when the male character talked I had to raise it slightly to understand him. Music was on point, they set up the mood for each wacky and eerie scene perfectly.Sound effects made sense ( whatever sense is left, that is.) and somewhere interesting to hear such as the video game like noise from a 8-16 t console.

OVERALL: For those who actually have knowledge of the joke apparently this is for you ( Racked up #1 flash of all time.) For newcomers like me the joke may be a swing and a miss but the interesting colorful and smooth animation is well worth it's reception and is worthy of a spot on my favorite flashes of all time list. Hopefully other newcomers can overlook it's zany theme and enjoy the great animation and art that I've had the pleasure to grace my monitor.
