Excellent puzzle game.
The levels were difficult but not too dificult, and I have to describe them as mind-bending here. It reminded me of the same feeling whenever I finished a chamber in Portal, I felt clever for solving each puzzle and got me excited for the next one. Your game captured that same exact feeling. Very successful puzzle game in my opinion. Also the music was very fitting.
This game is truly ingenious and clever. I love its simplicity too! It really makes you think. It's a little difficult and challenging, but that's what makes it fun! I beat the whole thing and really wish there was more.
5/10 from me!
Only one thing that bugged me: when you jump from one puzzle-part into another, it feels like a teleport. This disturbs the jump-and-run feeling a bit, because this makes it hard to time jumps from one puzzle-part into another (you keep jumping further than you want to, because the target platform seems to be further away).
ideas for easy addons:
- now, for increased difficulcy, limit the number of jumps and the number of puzzling moves!
- 5*5 puzzles
ideas for harder addons would be:
- add monsters and traps (spikes etc)
- weapons vs monsters
- reverse gravity buttons
- fans that blow you upwards for limited time after an activation button has been pressed
ideas for very hard addons:
- level editor
- level publisher and voting system (players all over the world could create their favourite level packs for this!)
But to the person below me, have you even read the rules? The review space is not a place for you to act like a asshole.
