Hey, i made this platformer. Its meant to convey the idea that often the actions required to achieve a given goal are more rewarding than the goal itself. For example, in the case of a computer game the playing and improving can be more fun than the satisfaction of having finished the game. Hence 'the journey is the destination'. I think its an interesting take on the heros journey, in a classic, retro styled platformer. I hope you enjoy it!

good game

the only thing i would say is dont include the slippery ness or the delay movement on a game where it comes down to just a pixel like it does in this game, ya know? have one touch of the key move the guy just a touch, not jump across the little block.

It's a nice game

You've got a good maze and difficulty.
I suggest that instead of a box make yourself your own character for the game. Kinda spice it up to attract people to play the game you created. Nice ambient music by the way.

reminds me of

The DOS games I used to play as a kid :-P

And just like when I was a kid I got pre-focused on a non-objective goal... must... get... on ... QUESTION MARK!

This was fun, but I hope you get into animating your enviroments and characters with future games :-D

The controls are awful; how can you jump into a very tiny block if you start sliding just when you touch it?

Plain graphics...VERY plain graphics,I wouldn't complain about that if the game wasn't so simple. It's not a good RPG with pixel graphics,it's a platformer game, and it's one that doesn't offer anything new at all.

Nice music,though

I would like this game a bit... but it stole hook jumps from Everybody Edits! Also, danger-life ratio is completely off.
