Oh No More Lemmings Returns is a rework of the traditional DOS Oh No More Lemmings from 1991. It is the sequel to my Lemmings Returns remake.

QUICK INSTRUCTION RUNDOWN:
- Press 'Esc' to go back/restart from anywhere, any time
- Draw and erase with your standard click and drag. Use shortcuts keys 'd' and 'e'
- If you get stuck for whatever reason, right click and select 'MAIN MENU'
- The nuke button needs to be double clicked. Or, you can just press 'n'

I will try to respond to questions, concerns, or critiques here:

Q: This isn't Lemmings. Lemmings had builders, blockers, diggers, bashers, etc.
A: Correct. But if I merely copied the tools from the original games, than I wouldn't be creating anything new. The whole idea of Lemmings Returns was not to do a port, but to take the basic idea of the suicidal Lemmings and do something new with it.

Q: The Lemmings move/fall slowly, and I can't complete even the basic levels in the given time.
A: You may just be running on a machine that isn't rendering the Lemmings quickly enough. The game runs at 61fps to ensure more accurate pixel collision detection. Unfortunately the Flash Player eats through CPU like crazy. You could try updating your Flash Player, closing processes, or switching web browsers.
A2: If you switch tabs while Lemmings is running, and/or lose focus the rendering can stop, while the time resumes.

Q: I can't select the erase or draw button sometimes.
A: Some levels you only get one tool, others, both tools. The variety ensures strategy.

Q: What are the level codes for?
A: The level codes do not reflect the codes used in the original DOS Lemmings. They are there only for
bonus content.

Q: No speed up button?
A: Originally I developed one, but the problem was that speeding up Lemmings effected the way they reacted to their environment too much. The per-pixel collision detection depends on the Lemmings moving steadily across a bitmap canvas.

Q: Some of these levels are very difficult. Will there be a walkthrough?
A: Yes, eventually.

Enjoy!

level 2 dolly who? is mission impossible to beat. that really sucks. all of my flash equipment is up to date. so what now?

This game wont load here . So can't play. works on other sites though. this game and lemmings returns have problems . the lemmings walk like little drunk cripples and don't make it to exits in a timely fashion. Wasn't always the case with these games. Bugs are creeping in. my first slag of a game.

nice game

i just hope there is gonna be a walkthrough soon cause lvl 3 of crazy lvl's is like totaly undoable

Not really Lemmings, is it?

Yes, it looks and sounds right, but where's the constant planning brought about by the different tools that you can give the Lemmings individually? Trying to draw lines for them to walk along, or cut through the rocks with your mouse pointer just defeats the object of the game.

They had about 8-10 different features you could give them, from umbrellas to rock bashing hands, pick axes to backpacks loaded with slates.

Sure, it's a vague approximation, with the annoying, yet quirky music, the graphics are unmistakeably lemmings orientated and while you didn't use the more traditional "boing" noise as they cleared the level, they still sounded like lemmings.

Ugggh

No, just no. I love lemmings, I really do, but it's bad enough there isn't speed up button(shoudl have tweaked with it more imo until it worked sufficiently), but even the first level is nearly impossible to get the lemmings in their temple within the given time frame. And drawing lines? Seriously?

Also, erase line button doesn't work.

auvenom responds:

If you can't complete the first level due to time there may be a possibility that your machine isn't capable of rendering the Lemmings at their intended 61fps speed. Draw and erase tools alternate per level, and their simplicity opens up a surprising paradigm of puzzles in later levels which you regrettably haven't seen.
