Wasted Youth, Part 1 takes place behind the walls of St. Frosts Academy - a school for slackers, troublemakers and idiots.
At first everything seems normal, but soon, children start to go missing...

Space - Interact / Talk / Advance conversation
P - Pause Menu
Mouse is used for menus, dialogue box & other interfaces
Change auto-run & text speed options in the options menu.

This can be toggled on in the Game Mod section of the options menu.

Updates
-----------
For those using Internet Explorer having trouble moving (delayed keyboard reactions / sticky keys), please try the game in Chrome or Firefox. Otherwise, try the following fix:
Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab -> uncheck protected mode.
Or if you don't want decreased security, try the alternative fix posted here: http://www.kongregate.com /forums/7-technical-suppo rt/topics/67250-fix-for-k eys-sticking-in-games-in-
internet-explorer.
This seems to be a specific known issue with Internet Explorer with intensive flash games. You won't lose your progress by switching browsers.
-----------
We are aware that some people are having lag issues.
Please make use of the quality options and we'll be working on improving performance as much as we can.
The game runs better in Chrome and Firefox, so if you have them, try that in the meantime. You won't lose your progress by switching.
-----------
We apologise to those of you who think the translations are bad.
It was never made to be translated into 4 other languages, but it was a requirement from our sponsor.
We did not use Google Translate, we used a company used by our sponsor.
I only speak English, so I could never have known the quality of the translations. Please don't downrate the game because of this.
If you speak good English, I recommend you just stick with English.
Thanks.

Solid.

Not just solid, adamantium reinforced with granite, laced with anti-magic runes and defense enchanted solid, with an energy barrier around it that can take power equal to several hundred nukes solid.

Gameplay is simple, which is rather good actually. It makes it rather easy to get into play, after you pass the introductions, especially the tutorials. I'd say the dialogue box interface could be improved. Whenever I want to skip and fill up the box to just read outright, there's simply too much and it causes it to go into scroll.

At first, it's annoying, but takes time getting used to. Another gripe is the staircase. Not all that major, but at the start it can affect how we enjoy the game. Going up and down stairs are generally uneventful, I personally recommend just skipping the entire go-up-and-down stairs sequence, and just go straight to the next floor or the floor below once you reach the stairs. Of course, also took time getting used to, but since nothing happens in-between going up and down stairs, it is just generally pointless.

The writing is, perhaps some of the best I've seen. There is a brand of black humor about school in this entire flash, and it is rather involving, considering we've all been in school in our lives, so it is sometimes relateable. The addition of humor, and that this is an entire cast of snowflakes makes it even better. The fact that there is a profile on every student, with all of them having something different to each other, really took the cake. I can't say too much about the plot, I've yet to see it all, but I hope the rest of this series does not disappoint.

Overall, really good. The fact that I sat here for hours just playing proves it's good. And to those poor, impatient and generally incompetent sods who can't get past the starting pace being slow. You guys are really missing out. There is just simply, so much depth in this one flash game, it's incredible.

Thanks for your comments :)
I agree that the stairs animation is a bit slow, so we'll definitely look at that for Part 2.

great game

Ok so this game looks really good but for whatever reason i can only move side to side (every like 2 minutes) and if i move to an open space it moves me down (or up) so till I can play it looks great but i wont know that till i can play

If you're playing in Internet Explorer, try using Chrome or Firefox. The key sticking is a problem with CPU intensive games and Internet Explorer.

Wasted Youth is a social problem....

exposed in a game telling us the story of a school deserted student forced to study in a stupidest St Frosts Academy in somewhere in the world. I found the dialogues funny and vulgar . the Music composed by Yun is great and fits the ambient and atmosphere of the game.

The game missions were intuitive to solve and if you got struck thanks to God there was a game guide. Language Script was a mix up why? I passed the game on spanish and you can talk to people or interact with sourroundings that you hit on english or other languages. Tell your sponsor to let you stick with english . English is a universal language and every earthling speaks this language in the world!

Questions to GP Studios: Are the Piggymon cards be used later in the saga for a trading card game?

I hope part 2 comes soon!!!

GP-studios responds:

Piggymon cards will be back in Part 2, but it will be an actual game that you can play. You'll be able to duel other kids and win cards that way also.
