Instead of running yourself down go back and rework it. When I opened it I liked the graphics and appearance it made want to play it before I new what it was. You put the right colors for the background and charters, Armadillos were cool. You're on the right path you got the feel down, first image or impression is the most important now turn it into a real game.
You need to look at others work and figure what it is that makes theirs work so well and duplicate it.

Um...

First off there isn't anything in the game that tells you your objective or how to play, although it's not a complicated control scheme it would have been a nice addition.
You can't progress past the first screen because the camera doesn't move. (maybe this is the whole game??) I hope not, and it's most likely just a glitch. (please fix if so)

Enemies that move, and can kill you would make the game more than just a simple stroll through the park. Music would've been nice too, but not nearly as important.

Maybe I would've liked your game (The style is a plus), but unfortunately it's just one screen with enemies(Are they?) that stand still, and deal no damage.
Hopefully you can fix that screen bug in later installments.

Hey man, a love the characters face haha. It's a good start. The graphics are good for what your going for, I believe. But i go off the screen to the right and it doesn't follow? Just concerned aboot that eh? haha. Keep working on this game and make longer and a little harder. But for a first this isn't too bad at all. Keep up the work man!
