This Town Episode 1: New Management
This is basically a reboot of an episode we posted in 2009. Its available to be viewed on newgrounds but we seriously recommend that you don't. Watch this one instead (we're kind of ashamed of the old one).
Back to this episode. It revolves around hotel casino manager, Iceberg King, and hotel accountant, Voodoo Bob, being summoned to the office of the hotel's boss, Tom Bastion. Watch and find out why.
We hope you like it. It has adult themes in it which may not be suitable for all. But we hope those of you who do watch it, like it and will also check out the other episodes we've done, which can be found in our channel.
Nice reboot
I remember the original ep1. This is much better and has improved on some of the slightly monotonous parts in the lift from the old one. All in all, this episode sits nicely with the other episodes out. Keep up the effort and keep em coming!
A Proposal
I liked the idea and concept of the cartoon on the whole. but i think that this cartoon would have a better look and feel if it were done in a more noir fashion. i like the color scheme of sticking to only a certain spectrum which is what got me thinking that this would work better noir. Thats just me tho. neways, good job on the whole.
Good stuff
I liked the art, however the animation was a lil skeetchy...but the voices were really well done and I really enjoyed the humor. Keep it up, I hope to see more of these.
kinda weird!
Very good art, sound, story etc.
The animation is not the greatest and the lip sync is relatively crude, but its entertaining and strangly blue.
I found it hard to hear some of what they said, especially near the beginning, but I got the hang of it as we went along. I was a bit shocked at the apparent dark ending and dissappointed at what appeared to be an NG cop-out ending, until the story suddenly moved on. I don't quite understand that bit, I suppose it was some kind of dream/nightmare fantasy thing, tho who was dreaming it was not clear to me.
I sense that you enjoyed making this and I will catch some more episodes.
thanks for the comments. it was the ninja's fantasy. it zoomed into her eyes. she's the bodyguard of the big boss, and all she thinks about is killing basically.
yeah, the lip sync is kinda weird. we use toon boom and the lip sync could do with some improvements.
