Fantastically addictive.
This has got to be one of my favourite games ever posted online, I have wasted so many hours trying to see just how far I can get.
The gameplay is perfect, it is very fast paced with a decent difficulty curve and I find that after stage 10 the enemies really start trying to kill you. By stage 20 every single key you press has to be precise or you will likely lose half your life and when you get to stage 25 almost nothing you do will make a dent in the enemies forces as they spawn faster than you can take them out and you can get overwhelmed in a matter of seconds.
The look and sound are what first hooked me to this, it has a very retro feel to it but with a modern touch which just seems to be perfect for it.
The story is interesting even though I can't help but think of The terminator everytime I play it.
The only problem I have with the game just happens to be one of the things I like most about it, the game cannot be beaten. In a desperate attempt to beat it I used a cheat program and sped through the game with all upgrades and had no real challenge until I got to the early 20s when even with everything unlocked I still had to think and react at lightning speed. I eventually made it to stage 36 before my computer could no longer handle it and my browser froze.
Thank you so much for creating such a fantastic game, I eagerly await a sequel.
