._.
You're here on Newgrounds, so I'll report what I see to the review section here, not to some email. If you don't check back, meh....Okay then.
The engine is very simple, reminds me of professor Tim's workshop. However...
Not many would understand this by simply looking. They might be able to figure it out eventually, but it's still just good housekeeping to explain your game and how to play it, in the Author's comments. The Author's comments are there for a reason.
Similarly, you give us no controls, nothing. Tell us how we play this game, mate! Is it clicking, pressing enter, simply putting the cog at the highlighted blue spot, what?
This was obviously supposed to be a demo, yet it didn't do very well in that aspect for two reasons:
1. The game is far too short. For a demo to be effective, we need to have an idea of game-play. We don't really get this much with simply placing one thing in one slot.
2. You stated in the Author's comments that not all levels will be like this. If that's the case, then why upload this level anyway? It's not a good representation of the game.
I think I understand what you meant by that, though, in that the levels will be progressively more complex until it's less put this here and more common sense put this here.
The graphics were alright. Some good music may have helped.
In the end, it's simply too short, to be a fair representation of much anything. That said, I am looking forward to the actual game itself.
