The joke is simple, but it's a great little joke. Dosen't waste the viewers time to get to the punchline.
Why is it 6 things?
It should just be "things kites think about", there is no reason for a 6. Or was that just a really abortive attempt at misdirection so that people might say "oh, if it was just things kites think about, it might be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but because there are actually 6, it has to be 6 distinct different things"? Oddly enough, I was completely expecting that punchline even so. It's actually the same joke as the original "Why did the chicken cross the road?" "To get to the other side". An obvious answer to a simple question with an obvious answer. Literally this is the oldest joke in the book.
By the way, read this:

and it absolutely gave me a chuckle XD. I was expecting a long cheesey stupid story where kites can talk and stuff...........lol its the little things that count XDDD
