Edit: Yay, thanks for front page! I actually wasn't expecting it for this flash honestly.
This is going on Youtube later, but I give you guys my stuff first because I love you guys (I also love your abuse, hit me daddy).
This is a Kinetic typography I've been working on for about 4 days now, it uses the audio from the intro to Half Life 2.
It runs at 60 FPS and comes in at 4230 frames.
Wake up and smell the ashes.
I love you
Gman is awesome
No matter how many times I see watch/listen to the interactive cutscenes in Half life 2, they never get old.
The interdimensional Gman has always been one of my favorite characters. While Gordon Freeman is doing the dirty work, Gman is the real architect behind the outcomes of events.
He twists time and space to his liking...or rather to the liking of his employers <shudder>
I liked how you Combined different methods of dynamically distorting the text and how you created the atmosphere of drifting between different realities.
Thanks for a great animation and for bringing back good memories.
Interesting, but not enough.
I liked what you did with the audio. It's a pretty cool to watch.
What I don't like, is how there isn't much animation. I'm a bit tired of seeing flash movies with just text getting away with high scores. I've also seen this type of flash before. It's nothing very original, but I like the sound you used in yours compared to some others.
Overall, it's above average. I enjoyed watching it.
Great, but weird
This is the coolest way to display text I have ever seen, you could done this with any quote from any movie, tv show, and even any other videogame, why did you do the Halflife intro, kinda random
well, so you made an animation with what the creepy pale guy with a briefcase and a blue suit says in the beginning of HL2.
don't get me wrong, i really like it, i just don't see the point.
i like how you drag the "O" down all the way to go with world.
The story of Alethrion and Amerath, the original creators of the map.
Wendy's gone too far this time.
