You got 18 different maps to discover, 25 quests to accomplish, 21 battle skills to learn, more than 10 types of monsters to kill, more than 100 weapons and gears to choose, and unlimited possibility of composition...Those are not all. We translated this game into 7 languages so half of the whole world can enjoy it! Hope Arcuz could bring you a lot of fun!

WASD: Move
J: Attack/Talk with NPC/Accept
K: Jump/Cancel
I&L: Activate Battle Skill. You can put 4 battle skills on the skill slots on the bottom of the game screen and press I/L to use the skills. You level up and add ability point to one of your skills. Then you click one of the skills on the SKILL panel and put it on the skill slot. You can only put active skills to the skill slots (not passive skills).
1/2/3: Use potions and town portal. Click the potions and scrolls in your inventory and put them on the potion slots on the bottom of the game screen. Then you can use the potions and scrolls by pressing key 1/2/3.
C/V/B/N/M/,/ESC: hotkeys for Char, Skill, Quest, Inventory, Map and Menu.

We are using MochiGames API because we want our players be able to save and load the game on any computer. As flash can only perform local saving. This is a technical issue.

MochiCoins is an optional choice for those who lack time to play this game and want to level up quicker. Without paying a cent you can enjoy the game a lot. We developers have to earn our livings by making games.

Thanks to all of you, Nice NG players!

nice game, seems like it'd be alot of fun...

...if i didnt need an account on another site just to save.

since im not allowed to keep my progress unless i join some other site, i didnt really play too much, i didnt go any further than the plains or get any higher than level 4.

it does look like a very good game, though... i'd probably play it alot if i was able to save, but again, i dont like having to join other sites to be able to save on a game im playing here on newgrounds.

i took away a point for that save thing, but i didnt wanna take away too much since it does seem like a lot of work went into it, you could've just been a little more considerate instead of forcing people to join other sites and all that.

good job with the game, maybe i'll come back and play it again if you decide to make a change to the saving feature.

solo MMORPG...

Graphics 5/5
Gameplay 4/5
Music and SFX 5/5

Yet, 7/10 overall rating. Why? Because the game felt more like playing one of the many all-too-similar MMOs out there except combining all their elements so effectively into so small a package is worth kudos. However, the drop rates and other such factors seem to have been directly ripped off one, hence the many complaints that are coming from people. The no rest or shelter wouldn't hurt that much as it makes the game more competitive, but potions are seriously overpriced given how money is not the most readily available feature of the game, perhaps 15 coins per potion?
Since the drop rates and item prices seem to be exactly the same as in MMOs, it has caused some unexpected problems in the otherwise extremely smooth gameplay - people can spend this much time grinding in MMOs because they have company, not many are capable of appreciating such solitude. The potions require a proper description, so do the various character stats. I do applaud your efforts in minimizing the grammatical mistakes that are rampant in flash RPG games - I couldn't find a single one in this! A first for me! (well, atleast till the point where I've played the game) Ah, also the weapon system seems to be a bit lacking, there are three categories of weapons but no differences or strength/weakness descriptions are provided, I just picked the axe due it's high damage since no other factor was mentioned.
Some people mentioned trouble in moving from one area to another, to quote someone's review, "enter a new area and you are a cunt". I would not deny that the distribution of strength is not very smooth over the levels, but hey, people, the real reason it seems so tough is because the slimes are wimps! A player goes from dealing 100-200 damage per hit right from the very low levels on slimes to dealing less than 50 damage on wolves! If we neglect the slimes, the other monsters have a relatively smooth transition.
umm...I think that's about all for now....gonna play the game a while more and will message you if I find something new, if you want that is. But yes your effort was brilliant, the game mechanics were really intense! Keep it coming!
p.s. maybe more "secret moves" like the jump slash can help add to the excellent fighting experience ;)

Good but linear

After getting my ass handed to me by the final boss (who becomes too difficult when he speeds up) I made a stronger weapon with ice to see if I could beat him. Much to my surprise, when It was wielded, the game glitched. I wasn't able to leave the battle square that I was fighting on. I tried letting myself die, only to find out that I was immortal! Actually -84 health dead, more like immortal undead.

The ending is sooooo not worth the time spent into this. Maybe the dev's just assumed no one would be able to beat it.

If you're having trouble figuring out what skills to get, I beat the game with hurricane. The last hurricane skill is like the WW the barb does in Diablo, it destroys everything around you. So when you're fighting a boss, pile up on some zerk potions and jump around in circles while hurricane recharges. Good way to power level too

Playable, but Improvable~

I've been playing the game for about 3 days now, and love it.

I must highlight a few points though.

*Equipment variation is good; there are 3 different types of weapons(could add more), equipment leveling, equipment upgrading, and plenty of nice rare drops.

-As stated, you could add more weapon types, instead of axe and two types that are virtually the same. (ie, all swords are blades) Perhaps spear/polearm, and some sort of scythe-style weaponry?

*Gameplay is nice, but the mechanics are in need of major overhaul.

-Monsters, and once or twice me as the player, glitch into walls and holes, and cannot come out. This doesn't happen too often, but its still very annoying as I needed to restart when I was stuck.
-Drop % rate for money MUST be raised! Its virtually impossible to get new gear, improve your character, or survive if you don't have money. Also, the difference from level 1 monster to level 11 monster is approximately 15 gold at level 1-3 to 40 gold at level 9-11. That's not very strategic, since gold drops rarely, and its not enough to keep up.
-There is no healer, or healing when you're in town, so if you town portal or travel back to town, you're pretty much screwed if you can't afford to buy potions.

Besides the shitty drop rate for gold/items and the lack of healing, this is a great game, and one I will continue to play for many days to come. I'm currently a sword-using level 15, and on Chapter III~

Have a good one, and please update the game if you can! Or make a new, better sequel ;)

Fortune shine upon you,
Vvaryk M. Aurea
