not bad

I've played worse TD's before.

Things I noticed:
-Upgrades only make a small difference. Beginning towers soon become totally obsolete. Tower rebalancing should be considered.
-No fast-forward button. Bosses take a while to kill and I found myself browsing other websites while waiting for a wave to finish
-Serious slowdown (even on low quality) in the later levels.

Other than that it was a pretty enjoyable TD. Replay value would increase if you made it so that it is not possible to get every tower in one game.

pretty good

although there are alot of games like this, its pretty fun, good job. great job making it mixed up, and interesting

Glitch

for some reason it glitched and allowed me to build endless towers and upgrades, which ruled. But still not the best experience cause of it.

ok could be better

was fun for a while but that didn't last long. needs more levels and you need to add some more ideas. hope to se a sequel that adds more things to the game. 7/10

Has potential, needs some fixes.

First thing, I think this has a great deal of potential and I hope you don't see this as being over critical. Anyway...

Let's talk about the Pyromaniac achievement. Was this an oversight on your end, or was this intended to be a well played troll? You cannot play the first 10 levels with only fire towers due to them not being able to hit air units. Others have said this, I'm saying it too, and I'm not going to be the last one to point this out either.

Two choices, make fire towers hit air, or remove air from the first 10 levels. Don't try and say we're supposed to go for Pyromaniac and Richie Rich because it's not feasible unless you get the NaN bug.

Tower AI needs work. The towers seem to function by looking at something that's getting close, picking the unit and deciding that is what it's gonna kill. Due to varying speeds in both movement of units and tower firing rates this leads to a lot of dead time where there's just nothing going on besides a tower looking at something instead of actually doing something.

Tower balance issues. Certain towers need to be upgraded before they can even function. The Gold tower is a great example of this. It is so slow in it's function, until you pump in one upgrade it will actually hit one out of ten times. I'm all for towers needing upgrades to be optimal, but to get their basic role down? That needs a fix. A level three Frost tower sure is better than a level one, but at least the level one is still getting it's basic job done. See what I'm getting at?

Staying on the topic of balance issues, certain towers are out of place tier wise. You need Air towers very early in the game. In order to get to them you need to pick a tower that serves no offensive purpose, that being Gold. I understand that it makes sense for Gold to be your yellow tower, but in terms of actual game play? You could rectify this by having Fire towers hit air or have air come later on (also handles the Pyromaniac issues as mentioned before). A great example of a tower being in the right tier? Acid towers. You don't need these right away. When you can branch into Acid towers it's right around the same time you need them on the field due to HP + Armor values increasing. Hopefully that helps to clear up what I'm referring to with tier placement balance issues.

hey thanks a lot for the review i love long critical reviews from people that actualy care about the game... the big problem is ethat we didn't tested the achievements before releasing lol XD im still not sure about the pyromaniac achievement if its possible or not.. and for the towers.... yea we know that the ai is kinda messed and the balancing is off.... we worked like 2 months on this game and the programmer did all the balancing ..... we were really tired of working on it so we released it like this... but still i hope you enjoyed it and i promise my next games will be purrrfect :D
