Rather short

Well... I guess it is nice to see the king has been rescued and is now free to be back at his castle in this episode. The graphics very much the same for this one.

I think it bears repeating but combine episodes so that they will be longer and be able to string together easier and be a little less work for you to deal with. The graphics here were a bit funny and nice seeing the planet.

The voice acting remained much the same. Didn't understand the spell bit but I suppose that is alright.

Overall, short but still funny.

Thank you for your review! I really appreciate it. You can expect episodes 38+ to be four minutes or longer.

Not your finest hour

I think that the lack of previous episodes in this particular case has cost me, because I suffer, watching without context and while the plot moves forward, it wasn't as enjoyable as one of your other pieces.

The awkward silence was awkward, but it's not supposed to be awkward for those watching it. Perhaps have the King break the silence, so you can actually have some dialogue, such as demanding to be untied and Drake saying that he's almost got it, while the mooks behind him idle about awkwardly.

The video has been compressed to such a state that the quality is severely compromised. I'd rather see it take a lot longer to load and be a much better quality, overall.

Not that it's put me off the series, but please request them in order, so we can see what the hell is going on!

MistyE responds:

Interesting review. I'll be sure to request them in order, though expect the first few requests - the first episodes - not to be as good.

A bit boring.

I have the feeling this episode lacks some sort of action, or something funny. Since the animation is nice but not awesome, it still needs some funny jokes or other entertaining things.

The whole story of kings and knights is nice though. It's not too bad that you have those small moments where nothing happens, since that adds to the tension too. But I had just hoped more would happen in this episode. Give us a plot twist in every episode, or some answers to a question in the previous episode. It would look more like a story then.

I guess this is a pretty old episode, so you weren't as advanced with the animation program you used as you are now, so that explains it.
Still this isn't a bad episode in terms of animation, but just a bit boring.

MistyE responds:

Thank you. This episode was a short one that somewhat furthered the story in that King William isn't tied up anymore.

The two hours it took for Drake to untie the king was indeed intended to be funny but I suppose it probably should have been executed in a better manner.

lol, yeah, "retro" Adrellia Village as I like to call it has a bunch of awkward silence moments that I added for comic effect.

Thanks for your review!

Hmmm

Well, this episode wasn't as funny as the others I have watched. I think the untying of the King could've been done better. We only had some text bubbles to read, maybe acting this out would be more funny.

Like, have Drake say out loud what he is thinking, maybe the King could try to say something to Drake, but he isn't listening. The way it is now, this episode almost feels a bit unfinished.

MistyE responds:

Yeah, acting this out would've been funnier. It was pretty short, so I can understand it feeling unfinished.

Thank you for your review!

It has it moments.

The animation is not bad per se, but it could be improved a little. I must give you credit for making the mouth movement of Drake a little more elaborated than the other characters (maybe that's the detail I pinpointed the most). The voice acting is alright, although the story is a bit weird.

I actually laughed when Drake removed the tape covering the King's mouth. That was random, unexpected and hilarious.

Good work, fella.
