Controls:
A - Brake
S - Gas
D - Weapon
Arrow Keys - Turn

The objective of the game is simple - place somewhere in the top 4 places in each race using your car's unique weapons. On that same note, watch out for your enemy's weapons, too.
I started this game back in October of 2009, it's now June of 2010. Granted, I definitely took my sweet time with it, plus this is also the first game I've ever developed. Also it didn't help that I did pretty much everything, including all of the art and programming.
Anyway, if you read all the way down to here, holy crap, good for you.
Enjoy the game and stuff.

Note: If you're using a beta version of Flash Player 10.1, the game may be bugged up. This is an issue with some early beta versions of FP 10.1. I advise that you upgrade to the official release of FP 10.1.

Good
I think that leaving out certain niceties such as a mini map made the game significantly more challenging. Which is really a good thing, because you have to struggle to beat the game, instead of breezing through first place in every level. Good job, especially for your first game.
you're also awesome

damn blue
That blue guy is really annoying. But besides the annoyingness of that, I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
lol, I agree too, he definitely is quite a track-whore

car+weap= Cod7 :D
good game, i think the only problem with this game is that there is no map, i keep forgetting which corners to turn, which makes the game very difficult, unless that was your goal 9/10 for no map :P
I was originally aiming to remake an old Sega Genesis game called Combat Cars. Since that game didn't have a mini map, I just really never thought of adding one. But it would've probably been a good addition.
Thanks for the review and stuff.

Decent car game, but could be better...
I enjoyed playing this game and completed it with one of the cars. Still, I've got a few suggestions to how you could make the game better. First, you should add a pause menu, and the user should be able to mute the sound. As a car game the game was great, but I expected more and better weapons from the title.
One last thing: You should update the rank (position) continuosly, not just when passing the finish line.
Hope you'll make a new, better version some time in the future. :)
Yeah, I agree with everything you said.
Thing is, it's be damn near impossible to implement any of those changes without basically recoding the whole game.
With this being my first ever project, the coding style leaves something to be desired. It's a terrible mess.
The good thing is I learned a ton of crap and thaet'll help me in the future.
