Pocket Fighter Nova is the flash edition of Super Pocket Fighter (mini street fighter). It uses an original flash FTG engine and retains most original fighting skills, but commands are simplified, which makes you feel more excited, scarcely taking your eyes off it.

Compared to six buttons in other fighting games, there are three buttons in Pocket Fighter Nova, which makes you easy to control. Pocket Fighter Nova also features "Flash Combos", where the player can perform a combo by pressing the Kick or Punch button after striking their opponent with the Punch button for a total of four hits. Flash Combos will usually cause a Character to change into various costumes during the sequence.

It has many funny fighting skills such as Chun-Li delivering love letter, Ken playing football, Hsien-Ko playing bowling and so on, making you can't bear to put them down.

Your own?

This is one of the most impressive and authentic "Street Fighter" fan games that I have ever played. Looking back, I do not even think there are alo tof them out there. I was a little confused as to why Morrigan was there, as she is from "Darkstalkers". What is really cool is that half the characters are female so it evens up your chances of playing against them (yeah, you know). The sprite work was flawless and had some of the highest resolution I had seen in a game like this. This just seems like something a professional gaming company would make.

CONTROLS and CPU

good idea 4 a game but the controls are so non fluid and unreasonable for people with a keyboard and the cpu just knowws every single move and its unreasonable 2 fight most of them i pretty much would want better controls with reasonable ways 2 do combos

Control. Control control. Also balance.

As you've probably read, there are some control issues. It's not that the controls are bad or lacking in fluidity, but rather that we have to do them with a keyboard. Keyboards do not lend themselves to certain fighting game staples. Quarter circles are reasonable, but Z motions... I don't believe I ever pulled one off on purpose. They were all accidental while trying to do quarter circles. Really, you need to make the game support a gamepad so that we at least have the option.

Also, and this may not be something you can fix as I don't know how direct a port of Pocket Fighter this is, but the characters are pretty unbalanced, specifically Sakura and Chun-Li. Their rush attacks, I believe the quarter circle back special, are just unfair. Sakura's isn't as bad since it doesn't last as long, but Chun-Li's takes about 1/5 health chip damage, and it cannot be jumped over, at least not by a person with normal human senses. I would consider a rescale of the damage for both of them because it isn't hard to get special charges.

It mostly needs a tune up, but the idea is workable.
