Protect your gems from being stolen by "good" heroes in this tower defense game. Overlord, you have all the power of orcs, undead and demons.

Instructions

Use mouse (hold SHIFT to build multiple towers or cast multiple spells).
The game has a bult-in tutorial.
Try to annihilate the enemies before they grab a gem, but even if they do, you'll have a chance to annihilate them on their way back and you'll save the gem.

too many to mention

the games great.. i like tower def games a lot.. simple or complicated.. noob flash or 2d or 3d tower def.. as long as its good..

and this games great.. but not too addicting though..

IF, i had all the upgrades, this game would not be that hard..

only hard creature in this game, NINJAS.. XD
- maybe place a red tower at the spawn point since they hide when they get hit, then they uncloak at the middle or something.. but since placing towers is limited.. >.> dunno.. anyone know how to deal with a lot of them?

liked the crypt.. flame aoe rocks!.. the green tower is a crap.. maybe not but for me.. its a crap..

farm farm farm exp.. finish each levels.. try to make them all brilliant.. and the games done..

btw, the most impt thing i learned.. like sendmeback said.. even if the timer runs out, the gem should be at the cave or starting point right??

Not........ the mob still got the gem on where the enemy last dropped it.. so the return gem back thing upgrade is a fail..

tested it at level13..

-1 for that gem thing
-1 for if i had maxed all skills this game is easy
-1 for i already saw this kind of game long ago.. i think it was gem tower.. combine same gems to make a greater tower and if the specific colored gem on the base got caught you cant create that tower.. something something.. i think i mixed up 2 kinds of games..

oh well.... back to farming exp..

Good and bad

This is a nice twist with a TD game where you can also level up. A like it as it gives the game a bit more replayability even after one has finished it.

What I'm really writing the review for is that, as mentioned by all other reviewers, the ninjas are way too overpowered. I mean come on, not only are they the fastest? One of the fastest units in the game but they can also turn invisible too? How is this fair at all? The ninja boss goes invisible right at the entrance, grabs a gem then reappears as he's about to exit. If there was a tower or even an upgrade(which would be so unfair at early levels even if there was) that could help you spot ninjas, it wouldn't be so unbalanced but hell, the times I lose, it's always the ninjas.

This would have been a 10 but I'm giving it a 7 because it impossible to get excellent anymore at the latter stages when the place is swarming with ninjas on hyperspeed.

Not bad

It's a pretty fun game and the leveling up and skill point system do a good job of compelling the player to play.

However the invisible enemy's are bogus, they could maybe be worked into a decent mechanic, like if their were upgrades or spells that broke their invisibility it would be alright. As is they just steal my gems while my towers don't shoot them.

Some more upgrades and spells would also be nice, give the player more things to do then just watching and waiting. Also the story is pretty weak, theres no sense of it in the game that I'm the abd guy.

Fun, but has balance issues.

Honestly if you're just going to play this game through it's great. The ninja's can be annoying but you learn to compensate having a reasonable end of the line force while having something to hit them right off the bat to run out their invisible time. Great execution though for the most part, loved the towers and the upgrade system.

Only real problem is, if you want to get brilliant on every setting it's just not a player friendly enviroment. Some of the boss ninja's move so fast that even if you hit them right off the bat, it's impossible to kill them because they get to the gems before becoming visable. The only possible solution is to set up towers so they all hit the first unit coming out at the same instant, 1 hit KO'ing it. But then this isn't plausable for facing the normal waves up until that point, or you just don't have the money to implement such a tower set up before that boss arrives.

With a little tweaking though it could have been perfect and would have scored a 9 or 10 from me.

good as far as tower defese games go

but even the best tower defense game is not worth more than 6 stars. Seriously, nothing interesting happens in any of them for about 1/2 an hour and even then you hardly have to think or do anything challenging.
