There are Better

The map, the barricade....... Reminds me of the Last Stand. Which is an amazing game. I cant help comparing the two even though this one has slightly different game mechanics. the Last Stand is definitely better.

First off, the graphics weren't bad, but I felt that they lacked polish. Just certain things didn't seem to be right. Some animations weren't smooth and so forth. When killed they seem to turn to stone, I know a complicated rag doll physics system isn't required but a little extra bit of animation would have gone a long way.

Also, The game really isn't even that hard. Spamming a melee weapon makes it easy. Never buy a gun. Ever.

The gamplay has some major flaws

This game has some big flaws:
- The store: I don't like being forced to buy every weapon! They are expensive, but most of them aren't useful so I have to waste my money on a lot of junk to get a good one! But the zombies are getting stronger as fast as if I would free to buy a decent weapon against them!
- The zombies comeingso fast in so big bunches that they cannot be picked off one by one. This makes all the guns useless becouse only the meele weapons can hit multipe (I mean lots of) targets! And of course the meele weapons are much more expensive than the guns, so you must spare the money for them to get the better ones in time. (This means you can't buy a single gun - maybe the Luger but nothing else!) I had to restart the game so many times becouse I didn't spare well enough!
- If you did a wrong buy you are totally screwed, becouse there is no way cancelling it! The game should autosave only after the battles and never before them so if you are defeted you may spend your money some other way before retrying the battle!
- And finylly there is a minor bug: you can accidently downgrade your barricades!

Game and set

Very nice game, well developped upgrade and survivor system. Graphics are decent. Repetitive but addictive.

A few things that should be improved:

1. Text for the graphic selection button( just 1, 2 and 3 isn't sufficient) we need to know what each buttons ets the quality to.

2. The icons for the weapons should have their resolution increased as each time I bought a new weapon I felt like I was buying a pile of brass and blood.

3. The bullets effect should be reworked as I found I could shoot a zombie full of bullets (more than 200 of them) in a short time(the time for the next bullet to be shot) without it ever dying. It seems the animation of the zombie dying is too slow and by the time the next bullet gets him it just starts the falling and dying animation again and again. This effect is increased when there are lots of zombies. As you try to shoot everything coming towards you screaming brains, it seem your gun is only able to trip one zombie continously. This is probably the major turn off for me in this game as I have to slow down my game and aim very precisly at zombies heads.

In the end, I got a small taste of a zombie onslaught but that zombie flesh left a sour taste in my mouth as I missed the great pleasure of shooting aimlessly at a zombie horde.
