This is act 1 of 3 of my 8-Bit Dr. Horrible project.

All music, sound effects, graphics and animation for "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Game" were created by me as a tribute to Dr. Horrible (by Joss Whedon) and the NES. You can download the full 8-bit soundtrack from my website (follow the link in my profile and click on the Dr. Horrible banner at the top of the blog posts).

Programs used in the creation of this animation:
Graphics: Adobe Photoshop
Animation: Adobe Flash
Sequencing: FL Studio
Instruments: NES+MidiNES
Mastering: Adobe Soundbooth
Sound Effects: SFXR

Note: This is not an actual game as of now but there are interested parties that I may be working with to create one eventually. Also, I realize there are spelling and continuity errors so please don't bother commenting on those - while not all intentional, I chose to leave them in since a lot classic Nintendo games had similar issues and I thought it added extra authenticity to the project.

Scene by scene brilliance!

I've been getting sick of all these 8-bit retro submissions bombing the portal but this flash definitely changed my mind about them! Absolutely perfect job; from the direct dialogue, right down to the remixed soundtrack. I've always loved Dr. Horrible, so it's great to see the movie being reinvented this way.

Fantastic!

I love it! I always feel so bad for Dr. Horrible, when Hammer steals Penny like that.....

Anyways, you did a great job on this dude! I hope to see more from you in the future.

Regards,
FethrdWlf
