Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

#Gameplay:

Destroy the cubes, when they die, they explode into cubes. These cubes can be picked up for extra points and a small heath bonus. Survive for as long as you can, I bet you can't beat my highscore of 5000 ;)

The game starts out easy as hell, but just you wait =P

Reviews

great game

good idea...add more weapons new enemies
try better next time 4/5 8/10

Really like the idea, however I must agree with Countchunko, that the preloader would be nice with a "press to start" button.

I noticed some perpetual bugginess and other misceleneous issues throughout the game, ones that interfered massively with my ability to enjoy the game.

Without any of the point bugs listed below, I got to a score of 10,458 with a near- full health bar before I realized that the difficulty level had capped. At this point, things like a quality button would have een welcomed, because after popping a bunch, my computer struggled. During these slowdowns, I realized that I moved faster than my enemies, and just as fast as any projectile. In my mind, bullets should move fater than the player.

Additionally, I loved being able to fire diagonals, and indeed the first issue I noticed is that the R-D diagonal wouldn't function, instead, firing down only.

Another thing to note here is that occasionally, to my dismay, bullets I fired would pass right through enemies. If this were due to the fact that They spawned after my shot, that would be forgivable, but carefuls study showed that this was not the case.

A Musical mute button would have been a great boon, as I enjoy the sounds of the games, but not necessarily the music, and indeed, after the third playthrough, the music was grating.

Being dyslexic as I am, I would have loved to see a little more distinction between player and enemy. I kept on looking at blue cubes when I instead, am Cyan... whoops.

As no doubt mentioned below, a preloader, or at least a 'press play to start' would have been nice, as I tend to navigate in a seperate window while loading, due to a crap computer. I heard music, and navigated back, and found my health half depleted. This would have also mitigated the 'jump in and figure out controls later' factor, as I spent precious time finding out that I could move, collect enemy debris, and regenerate my health.

In short:
* Preloader/start screen = necessary
* Beta testers, alwas a good idea to have a second pair of eyes
scan for bugs first.
* Colors = insufficient distinction from enemies.
* Controls for quality, music, and sound.
* Difficulty ramp should get extended, some algorithm based
on time or score would do nicely.
* tighten the 'physics engine' of the game.

A cube piece seemed to get stuck on the right border and kept a +35 on the whole game. Also i seemed to be gaining life. Is that an effect of a colored block?

Hit way over250k pts. Lag was heck. Felt like i was in the matrix. Hehe sweet twist on the game play and cool music. Hope you add an instruction page or maybe some bonuses to make the gameplay not so monotonous. Keep it up!
