Colony is a Real-Time-Strategy game, where you build bases, accumulate resources, create troops, and command them on the battlefield to destroy the enemy forces. All battles are set up to be 2v2.

This was a very exciting game for me to develop because it is my first attempt at creating something multiplayer (that isn't turn based either!). Some of my major influences were Starcraft and Code Geass.

If you enjoy the music, give David Orr a shout, he developed a system where it builds the music as you go, so that it's not one long predictable loop :D You can also find an extended version of the soundtrack on his NG page: http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/299268

I hope you guys have fun! :D

Awesome!!

I found this game to be very fun! The controls and the style of gameplay are pretty simple and straight forward, and it's really fun. I'm addicted!

Loved it!

One of the better games I've played on here in awhile! The art and music is great! The enemy AI is a good challenge, but when I played quick match I found my computer-controlled partner to act a little retarded from time to time. Sometimes they wouldn't build anything after an initial, limp-dicked attempt to attack the enemy. Then you just get steamrolled.

Unit diversity is amazing. I love the amount of work put into this area. Enough units to fit anyone's playing style. I like the passive abilities you can choose at the beginning as well.

One of the biggest flaws, and I think it has to do more with the TYPE of game this is then what the designer did or did not do, is that loosing is often a slippery slop. It can be really hard to come back after your army gets snuffed out.

In any case, thanks for helping me procrastinate.
