Starfire: Retaliation - Classic arcade space shooter with loads of enemies, weapon upgrades and giant bosses. Aliens allmost stole all water from planet earth. Now it's time for revenge.

The game has been developed together with Switchingbrains, the masters of spaceshooter arcade games. I think they have surpassed themselves again. You decide.

Instructions
Use the ARROW keys or WASD to move your ship, press SPACE, Z or SHIFT to fire. Hit P to pause the game.

I hate it. But that's okay.

Well... The graphics are nice; the gameplay seems simple; the sounds are futuristic enough for the players to feel the futuristic effects..., and... uh..

Seriously, man. I would prefer real time tactics than arcade games, if I would make a flash game.

A solid game, but nothing distinquishes it.

This is your standard top-down shooter. And while there's nothing wrong with that, or this game, there's also nothing that really separates this from the crowd. If this was to earn a perfect ten, it would of needed some underlying creative originality, and this really didn't have any. The upgrade system was well performed, the shooting and controls were smooth, and the enemies were exactly the archetypes I expected from this sort of game. So nothing really caught me off guard, which was a little disappointing.

Keep up the solid work, but in your next submission lets see something new!

thanks!

Simple but fun

Nothing extraordinary, but reasonably fun for a bit. Bug: Pausing the game allows death invulnerability to wear off. 2 deaths for the price of one :(

Gamenode responds:

Thanks for the report. It should be fixed now. :)

It has potential

Add a little more space in the bottom so not all ships suicide into you, and please, mouse controls :)

Noice

This is a beautiful shooter and the gameplay for the most part is solid as well. My only gripes are that I wish there were some kind of speed power up to increase the rate of movement for your ship, and also it seems like the red weapon power-up is supposed to act as some kind of flak barrier/explosive projectile? Maybe widen it a bit so that it covers a wider space in front of you and decrease the distance to keep it balanced(or if I'm totally off the mark, I apologize ;P )
