The song is called "You Cried Me" and it's by Jookabox, from Asthmatic Kitty Records.

weird.. but in a good way ^^

Awesome. Strange. Really cool idea, song and animation.

I have a technical question: Even before the movie is loaded you can play it. Do you stream this flash animation, or does it load an external movie?

asthmatickitty responds:

Yeah, it streams. Just one movie, no external loading. The loader waits till it's 100% loaded, but you can bypass it with a simple gotoAndPlay() action. Of course, if you haven't let it load long enough you run the risk of it stuttering or pausing.

i'd say

that this is the best thing i've seen on this website, probably the whole year. loved the style, the color, everything. simple fun fast-paced entertainment
loved it.
the only thing i would have changed would be the wolf, seemed kinda stuck in there. could have been something cooler, needed more movement

Excellent Music Video.

This music video is purely deligthful from the cool visual styles and the even more delightful music. The style seems to stem from the infamous Adult Swim show Super Jail but the premise is not so much. A very tongue in cheek video that reminds me of Coheed and Cambria's antics in A Favor House Atlantic or Feathers. Music mixed with humor and with fitting visuals makes this flash pure excellence.

Awesome

Just One question? Why would the cat save them after they killed it?

asthmatickitty responds:

Good question, but I think you'll have to ask the cat hermself.

Thanks!

TOM!!

I love your work, and this is no exception, it has great pacing to match the song and your signature idiosyncratic movements.
