Happy October Newgrounds. Today we submit to you Zombie Hooker Nightmare, a game about zombies, hookers, nightmares, and more zombies. Just in time for Halloween. Grab a gun and mow down some undead.

A quick review of the rules of ZHN...the game is divided into two Episodes, both available from the title screen (but they don't connect to each other).

Instructions:

Arrow keys - Move Lola around

Space bar - Attack. Uses current weapon if you have one or punches and kicks if you don't.

X - Tempt nearby Johns and make them follow you.

Touching Johns - Makes them follow you.

Guide Johns back to the trailer to turn tricks. Reach the night's quota and enter the trailer to progress to the next level.

You don't have to touch Johns to get them to follow you. Pressing X will get almost any John you can see on the screen to follow you as long as zombies aren't currently attacking them.

Weapons have a set amount of ammo/strength. When you use that up the weapon will disappear. You'll have to scramble for another weapon or just punch and kick your way through zombie hordes (but that's a lot harder to do).

As long as you don't completely use up all the ammo or strength of a weapon (strength/ammo greater than 0), it will recharge when you enter the trailer to go to the next level.

Enjoy.

Lame.

There's no plane of attack. It's a 2D landscape made to look like a 3D one. If a zombie is standing at the bottom of the screen, and I'm standing at the top, and she shoots/throws something it can still hit me. That's the most retarded part of this game. In other words, shooting in the middle of a causeway will hit all zombies - the ones higher and lower, because the bullets touch their avatars.

The second part I don't like is the stupidity of the weapons. There are like 4-5 or more melee weapons, which all do the same thing with the same damage. Projectile weapons are nice (the submachine gun is the best), but you get very limited ammo that makes them not worth grabbing.

Then, zombies will attack you before you get in range, so if you run up to one you will get hit before you have the chance to attack. This makes melee weapons mostly worthless, since they have a longer attack range than your prostitute does even with a weapon. The game turns into a strafing mission where I move up and down to avoid attacks, since moving side to side is suicide.

You get money, but no upgrades, no health drops (none dropped for me anyway, so they don't exist or are too rare), and if you fuck around too long, you get swarmed and no amount of weaponry can save you from the myriad of zombies on the screen.

Not good, but original

The game itself is quite dull, too much repetitive, still got a 4 because of the idea. I mean, I hooker game is already original, but mixing it with zombie hookers stealing our man was quite unexpected.

Meh

It's not that bad, the game play is good and you get to kill zombies, but this game just gets borin after you've played a few levels.

Meh

I'm not a fan of Adult Swim posting their washed up games here after they no longer are fresh on their own site but I digress...

I can understand guns running out of ammo but why do melee weapons have ammo? When I bash zombie hookers in real life with a golf club it doesn't just vanish after I swing it 24 times. And I guess one could argue that after so many hits it'd break but the fact that if you swing at nothing it'll still run out so that debunks that reasoning...

It's not really that fun. In fact it reminds me me of something an amateur could make with Game Maker. Not great.
