[UPDATE] Thanks for front page and Daily 1st again, people! It's good to know that people are still enjoying the series despite the delays.
Also, a special thank you to all those that have sent me donations. It's really helping me out. =)

[EDIT] Okay, with any luck all of the problems have been fixed now. Many of you may need to clear your browser cache in order to see the update. Chances are there are still some bugs I've missed, so if you find any, send me a PM.

Thanks ever so much to Tom Fulp for raising the upload limit for me. ^^
Wow. One year already, huh? Time sure flies when you're not having fun.
At least I didn't keep you guys waiting for 16 months this time. lulz!
Anywho, this episode has been the bane of my existence for the past few months. Trying to build up the motivation to work on it after all the stuff I've been through recently.
I experimented a lot with this episode. Mostly with Swift 3D for the Doomship and the hand drawn close ups. I did start using high res sprites for the close ups early on, but I later opted for vector drawings because they're clearer and quicker to make.
Back to the 3D stuff though, I am aware that the Doomship looks kinda primitive, but personally I kinda like it. It reminds me of the old Starfox game on the SNES. Plus I didn't like the idea of fully rendering it which would have made the file size skyrocket.
Anyways, I've kept you waiting long enough. Thanks to all those who have been patient and enjoy the latest episode of Super Mario bros Z!

hahah man

That was all sorts of silliness , I loved it. You flashes make me feel like kid again watching, my Saturday morning toons, without a care in the world.

The creative use of Luigi in statue mode, is my favorite part.

Even better than ep.7!

Damn! I thought that episode 7 was great but this one is even better.
It's just too bad that it always takes a while until the next episode is finished :(

Great action and smooth animations... that's what I except from a SMBZ episode (the fun and nice story aside).

10 out of 10 points!

As always, nicely done

The episode was well worth the wait, though I have to admit I was expecting a bit more, especially with the length of episode 7. Though I did read your post on deviant art so it's understandable that it's a bit shorter. Plus there's that pesky need for a job and what not.

I must say I enjoyed the episode, though. The doom ship looked nice and the animations were silky smooth. I especially enjoy the custom animations you threw in there for the stand offs and Fire Sonic(That was pretty damn bad ass).

Keep up the good work. Lookin forward to ep 9...or 8 part 2, whatever it'll be called.

A flash to put some anime to shame!

This is epic as all hell, full of awesome to the max, and more adrenaline pumping than a summer blockbuster. It may have taken a year, but the result is more than well worth it. You take as long as you need; I'll take this top-shelf quality over quantity any day.

The use of the power-ups was fun and funny (in Luigi's case) and Fire Sonic is about the damn coolest thing I've ever seen! The references I caught ('main screen', 'barrel roll', 'not enough power') were hilarious, though I will admit that after the first I was hoping for 'set us up the bomb' (or bob-omb as the case may be) or 'all your base'. XD

That aside, I wouldn't change a thing. Your work is the best the 'net has to offer and I hope you continue to work on this series for a long time to come.
