ummm....

it was hard to get into

A good effort!

It's not the worst game I've ever played, but I feel like the controls are too stiff, the gameplay is too limited, and the numbers seem inflated (as in how many lives you have, how long things take, and how much life the mothership has), which makes the game prettty tedious. However, the interface was pretty clean. And the sound effects were agreeable. Keep it up.

I give u 10

because i am a good person

Frustrating

It wasn't executed very well. I thought the idea of synchnonizing most of the enemies' projectiles in the first part was a good idea -- the avoidance was interesting in that respect. However, the ship's controls were kind of clunky in the first part, and since it didn't move very quickly and couldn't turn well or return fire, it wasn't fun for very long, especially since enemy projectiles changed direction quickly and erratically. Also, I noticed a lot of slowdown towards the end, and didn't see any way to change the quality to compensate.

In the second part, I thought the movement was a little more intuitive (Up was always up, Down always down, etc) but the fact that the ship was so slow was once again a problem. Also, because the player's ship doesn't auto-target the mothership and the player has no control over where it aims, there is a huge delay between when the player is out of the line of fire and when he can actually shoot the mothership. Often my ship would be in position to attack, but would waste my window of opportunity by taking several seconds to face the right direction. Futhermore, the player's ship had a very low firing rate, and there often seemed to be a significant delay between when I hit "control" to fire and when my ship actually responded. The game was frustrating, rather than hard.

If the player's ship could 1) orient itself more quickly, 2) auto-target the mothership or at least shoot up or down, instead of only directly to the left or right, and 3) move a little more quickly, it might have been playable. Instead, I wound up quitting a few minutes into the boss fight. You seemed to put a lot of effort into the various game modes, but I wasn't inclined to try anthing beyond the recommended practice session because I didn't enjoy the gameplay. I think this game could be a good one if you made the player's ship a little more formidable and user-friendly, but didn't enjoy it in its present form.

what ever

there all the same
