Not that good

Sorry to say that I really didnt like this one for a couple of reasons. One being that it was kind of boring, it was just a collaboration of Billy Mayes pictures, some of which were not very original, I think a well thought out flash dedicated to Billy Mayes would have been much better than a dull slide show of pictures we've all seen hundreds of times.

The music in the flash was good, though for a tribute to someone who died it didnt seem to right, felt really out of place to me. A tribute should have like sad song in it to help grieve, not a rock song in it, almost seems a bit insulting to Mr. Mayes.

Better luck next time man, 1/5 from me.

It won't bring him back

Well, here we are with a slideshow of one of America's most well known advertising personalities. Possibly second only to George Forman, Mays devoted his professional career to promoting cleaning products, which has seen many different takes in other countries, such as Barry Scott in the UK, along a similar role.

I wasn't really thinking that the audio was very sad, in the way that you would put a piece for a eulogy. Perhaps it should have been some Michael Jackson playing, since their deaths have forever been tied together, but we know that Jackson will be remembered for a lot longer than Mays.

You could have at least done some animating to go with this, as you're capable of something that bears a little semblance of mourning or something similar to the piece.

I wanted to do something simple. Thanks for the review though.

This isn't an animation

Sure, you probably did it on flash with shape tweens and all, but this isn't anything you need reviews about.
The music wasn't very good, and when I saw it was called "Bambi Vs. Godzilla", I'm wondering how appropriate it was for this 'sad' tribute.
Furthermore, this wasn't really a bio, more like a photo slideshow. Thus, I can say that most if not all of this animation of yours, isn't technically yours. Really, it's google images, or where ever you found those images.
So here are my suggestions:
Better music (didn't sound great)
Better music choice (didn't suit the genre)
Actually animate something, so we can review your work, not your compilation of photos
Maybe I'll look forward to an actual animated submission from you sometime =)

I have tons of animated submissions. This is a tribute, I just wanted to do something simple.

Badly executed.

Art/Animation: 0/10
There were a few pictures that you didn't make, strung together with no originality. No marks here.

Plot/Concept: 3/10
There's nothing wrong with a tribute to Billy Mays, but I think that you should have tried to be more original, rather than a slideshow.

Music: 2/10
Considering this is a man who has just died, you could have chosen a slightly sadder song. The sound quality was decent though..

Overall: 1/10
Good intentions, but you couldn't pull it off..
