Hi! This is my first submission to Newgrounds through the Flash Portal :)
I'm sorry it's not an animation ;_; A lot of people online have asked me about the way I color my art, so I just wanted to be helpful :) It's geared toward Beginners with some more "advanced" techniques.
This covers a Cel-Shade Airbrush style that I use (Mostly for my art, and I would use it to color Comic Books too), Actions, Layers, Masks, Flats, Backgrounds and Shading.

helpful but ..
No faults on the actual tutorial its precise and easy to follow but I had a problem with the whole inverting the layer thing at the very begining - I have photoshop elements so I'm not sure if its because of that but, when I press 'load selection' it either says 'warning: no pixels selected' when I selected the whole thing or it loads an empty selection box on the new layer... Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong would be good lol
Yeah, it's Photoshop Elements :( Elements is the baby Photoshop so it doesn't have the capacity to separate channels (and therefore splitting the black from white) effectively.

Even though I have not tried this coloring method yet, I am sure to try it as soon as possible, as the guide is really detailed and provides a lot of help for those used (or not) with PS.
