I like how things looked like they were colored with watercolors. One suggestion: you might want to put into your description that you have to click on things to advance the story.

What happened?!

I think something must have glitched in your code. There is a short animation that goes on, but always stop just as the geisha(?)'s arm reaches the top of the building. Fix this, and then it might be a good game ... it's hard to tell with only an animation to go off of. :P
