I love everything about this game. The progression of the difficulty is dead on, the way tactics are incorporated to allow a player to either be good or to suck at this game is awesome, the little emoticons upon damage or winning are so cute and the ending just make me laugh out loud.

All that being said, I wouldn't be doing my due diligence review wise if I didn't point out a few, very minor and nitpicky things I noticed while playing:

I'd rather have seen a graphical representation of buff strength, like a number it's raising my stat by rather than just a faded icon once it passes below a certain point.

I would have liked an ability to apply a damage over time effect (like poison) to the enemies. It would have made those long segments where I was having to buff, heal, regen ad nauseum a little more bearable if I'd had a DoT ticking away.

Perhaps if the players had had names rather than just P1 and P2? While I'm on the subject, it would have been nice to be able to target my players with friendly spells by clicking on those names or their health bars in addition to the players themselves.

I would have liked to always be able to see the enemy's hp, not just when I was actually doing damage to them.

It would have been nice if the girl had had a "temper" like ability that raised her magic attack. While I'm on the subject, how about a scan type ability so I can see monster's elemental weaknesses, etc.?

The spell healmore may have been better named healall?

It would have been nice if it were more obvious which of my abilities were affected by magic power and which by attack power.

What if single target abilities skipped the target selection process when there was only one option?

Finally, the game seemed just a hair too long. Maybe if one boss (and associated trash enemies) were removed?

In conclusion: thank you for this fantastic game - I've had a blast the whole way through and am very much looking forward to continuing on to earn the rest of those medals. Though I do need to express my fear that one of the secrets may be to defeat the game without using items. I can see how this would be possible if it were not for Goku's ability to seal both my players... Just a fear of mine...

<insert practically every 10/10 review posted here.> loved the references, especially canti. wicked.
also, are you sure you want the mog ability? i breezed through normal mode spamming mog whenever there was one grunt enemy left. it allowed me to restore myself to tiptop shape before every fight. sure it takes a long time but i beat everyone pretty easily, thanks to being able to use high-mp moves without care.
i haven't tried out hard yet, so i might be eating my words, but what the heck, you've got a nice front-pager here.

Yeah, Mog is just there so you can't get stuck, the drawback being he is slow and boring.

Simply Amazing

Wow, I can honestly say that I haven't enjoyed playing just about anything as much as this for a long, long while. The sound and graphics were great, I loved the system, I loved the music, and believe me when I say I could go on for a good while longer about the many other things I loved about this game. Thank you for a great submission, and giving me something to occupy myself with for a while. The only things I could see that you might consider adding would be a save function, or a checkpoint, or something else of the general likeness.

Classic rpg battling without any of the other rpg elements. And pretty good battling at that.

You weren't afraid to stand up and say, "hey world, who needs plot? Who needs dungeons? Who needs the agonizing hours of leveling!? NOT US!!"

It's fun in itself to see how you yanked seemingly random junk out of assorted anime & rpg games and threw them together.

I loved the medals and getting to see catastrophe (gs2 is still the best handheld ever.)

The replay value is good, and the music was fitting. Even though sidequests and plot twists are frequently my favorite parts of a game, this had a charm all its own.

Long live the cliche.

Oh, and btw, I looked through your art gallery. It said that the final boss was brought back again. ~By cubone~ Either I'm blind, or it was Duskull in the picture during the final fight. Were you testing us, or is one of us not paying attention?

I'm going to have to check out the flashes the main protagonists were from.
