Overall: adequate. it seems like he could have faster reactions to control inputs, and also there is a lot of time spent waiting for him to do something. Another thing: Mitch is an Adventurer that cant swim? what is with that loser? (haha jk). but seriously, why cant he swim?

Fun, simple platforming experience. If not extra lives, it'd be nice to be able to have and get health. Three hits per life or something.

A great platforming expirience. The music kind of reminds me of super mario land on the gameboy. I think you got the concept for a really good game here. Still I think you might find some inspiration in platformers like Mario and Donkey kong country. For example: The fact that you die from one hit can get quite annoying at times. If you improved that by using the same health system that they use in the donkey kong games. Maybe the game might get more fun to play. Another thing I should add is that the sword is way too short in a game where you die from one hit. One mistake and you end up at the beginning of the level. Apart from this. I would call this one of the better platformers in the world of Newgrounds.

I didn't expect this game to be fun. IT IS. You should be able to get extra lives though.
