This game is very old, very outdated, and has lots of problems. The sequel, on the other hand, is a tremendous improvement over this game, and the upcoming third game in the series (TREBL: Rhythm Arcade) is exponentially better, still.

I'll leave this game on Newgrounds until TREBL2/TREBL3 get featured in the Rhythm Games collection, but please be aware that the series has improved far beyond this game. ;D

heh i really liked it

Guess i don't fit in coulda been harder you had enough keys two make it require 2 hands at the same time but i found it really fun.

key sync is way off, makes game almost unplayable. need to work on timing, and sync.

Yep - key synchronization was a big problem with this game. I made some improvements in TREBL 2, and I'm totally revamping the synch engine for TREBL 3, so expect a significantly better experience when TREBL 3 comes out!

But yeah. So is this game. Again: this was one of my very oldest adventures into flash game development. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with TREBL 3: Rhythm Arcade when it comes out!
